| Job Responsibilites: | | Cookies and crackers background is required for this position. Duties include: * Providing technical leadership in improving existing products, emulation of targeted products, and initiating new products; * Contributing creative solutions and technical expertise on multiple projects; * Ensuring that all assigned products are manufactured in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements, and customer guidelines; * Functioning professionally with outside product and process development consultants and traveling as required; * Leading and driving the program for reformulation cost management. |
| Job Requirements: | | 10+ years experience in Food Manufacturing, Quality or Operations; * Must have 5+ years experience in cookie and/or cracker R&D; * Familiar with Food Safety and Quality; * Knowledge and experience with AIB and government requirements; * Familiar with statistical process and control tools and techniques, any supervisory experience is a plus; * Knowledge in food chemistry and statistical analysis as used in designing experiments and measuring process capabilities; * Must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent coaching and training skills; * Creative, pro-active and able to think outside the box; * Able to travel 50-75% of the time; * Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite applications. |
